Sebastian Carl Schmidt is specialized in trademark law, design law, competition law, patent law, copyright law and employee Inventions law. Sebastian is an experienced IP-litigator and also provides comprehensive advice on IP-contracts (i.e. license agreements, demarcation agreements, know-how-transfer-agreements and NDAs).
A focal point of Sebastian’s practise is the e-commerce sector. Sebastian helps clients from different branches with the drafting of individual legal texts (i.e. general terms and conditions, legal notes, data privacy information) to make sure that their digital business models are compliant with regulatory requirements. Further, as he is the former general counsel of an international medtec-company, Sebastian uses his inhouse experience to provide pragmatic advice regarding medical devices law, healthcare compliance, general product safety law and product liability.
Sebastian is a member of GRUR (German Association for Intellectual Property and Copyright) and ECTA (European Communities Trade Mark Association).
